The Windermere - 666 West End Avenue
Upper West Side, New York
A 170,000sf conversion of a landmarked SRO building into a 200-unit rental building. Work was completed in multiple phases while building was occupied. SRO units were merged into larger 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with a level of finish to permit conversion to condo in the future. In addition to the residential unit design, Combined Architecture and Interiors completed the design of the historic lobby, two levels of amenity spaces at ground and cellar level as well as a rooftop lounge and terraces at the 23rd floor.
